The new facility, located in IJsselstein, Netherlands, includes clean rooms and fully automatic production lines, which will be used to manufacture light sources for LED products.
With a team already in place and operating production lines, Lemnis Technical Services is set to supply light sources for the complete range of Pharox products, including LED bulbs for domestic use, greenhouse lighting and solar products and Lemnis’ outdoor lighting products.
Lemnis will have Gert Grolleman serving as managing director of new technical services division.
Remko Gaastra, CEO of Lemnis Lighting, said: “Lemnis Technical Services has given us a greater in-house production potential and R&D capacity in the field of LED applications. Our Pharox products are no longer entirely dependent upon third parties for their production; something that will certainly strengthen our market position.
“We are also able to accelerate the expansion of our portfolio of services in the field of energy saving LED applications, as well as our ability to innovate.”
