Under the terms of the agreements, CBMI and LionGold will work jointly in project and related infrastructure development, mine operation and maintenance and procurement of supplies.
Subjected to terms to be agreed, LionGold would appoint CBMI as the primary contractor for its gold projects as part of the accord.
LionGold CEO Nicholas Ng said that the alliance will enable LionGold to fast-track the build-out of our gold business by leveraging LionGold’s current operations and corporate development teams.
"We are confident that CBMI Construction will be a capable partner, able to respond quickly to the technical and operational needs of our growing projects world-wide," Ng added.
Additionally, the both the firms will collaborate on new gold investment opportunities and project financing.
