Ignalina NPP will maintain a workforce of 1,900 after the shutdown of the unit.
I will not disclose all secrets; however, considering our needs, some 100 million euros will be required for all works next year. This figure includes wages for remaining staff, costs of electricity and gas, which will be purchased for the needs of the plant, NPP Shevaldin said.
Shevaldin said, We have purchased and delivered nuclear fuel, the quantity of which will suffice till the end of December. The last cartridge will be used in December, and the storehouse will be left empty.
