Additionally, L&T has received an order from Engineers India Limited for the supply and construction of a reactor and regenerator system valued at INR2.1 billion for the fluidized catalytic cracking (FCC) unit of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited.
The HMEL project will be executed by the construction business unit of L&T’s E&C division. The order involves construction of electro-mechanical sections for seven process units for the Guru Gobind Singh refinery project. The process units comprise Motor Spirit block, diesel hydro-treater, delayed coker unit, vacuum gas oil hydro-treater, FCC unit, poly propylene unit, and liquefied petroleum gas units. The project is scheduled to be completed in 17 months.
L&T is already executing a hydrogen package at Bathinda on lump sum turnkey basis valued at INR7 billion.
The MRPL job will be executed jointly by L&T’s heavy engineering division and the construction business unit of L&T’s E&C division. The order includes supply and erection of reactor, regenerator, and orifice chamber with structural, refractory lined piping works including painting, insulation & refractory works for FCC unit for Phase III of the refinery project. This project will be completed in 24 months.
L&T will supply critical process equipment valued at INR1.1 billion for the project. Site erection work is valued at INR1 billion.
L&T is already executing DHDT & Hydrogen Package on lump sum turnkey basis, valued INR14 billion, at Mangalore.
