The offshore block SL-4B-10 covering an area of about 2,200km2 in the water depths between 100m to 3,000m shares the border
with LUKOIL operated block SL-05-11.

Currently, the prospecting and exploratory drilling is being carried out at the Djembe structure using Stena DrillMax drill rig.

The first geological exploration stage of the contract area including 2D seismic survey of over 300km and 3D survry of over 1,000km2 was completed in 2009 and resulted in several potential pay zone discoveries on the block.

Also, an exploratory well was spud in the block with a depth of over 2,400m which traced oil showings in the Albian-Cenomanian deposits.

Petronas with 25% interest and Prontinal with 20% interest are the other parties of the project.
