Lukoil Romania is currently in discussions with several potential partner banks to install its ATM machines on its 300 forecourts. The petrol retailer is reportedly looking for a partner that can offer remote ATM-based cash dispensing and money transfer services. Lukoil is also keen to offer customers bill payment services through the ATM service.

The Russian energy firm said that a tender to select the partner bank could be held sometime in January but suitability of interested parties would first be reviewed.

Meanwhile, Lukoil Romania is forging ahead with a plan to open 50 snack bars at its petrol stations. The subsidiary is also launching two corporate payment cards in 2007.
