Post the acquisition, Lundin now holds 90% in the oil field, while the remaining 10% is owned by Talisman Energy.

The Brynhild field is expected to produce first oil in the final quarter of 2013 at a gross plateau production of 12,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Relevant authorities of Norway have approved the deal between the companies, and the agreement has an effective date of 1 January 2012.
