The exploration well was drilled in a water depth of about 70m and was directionally drilled to a measured depth of 2,675m.

The well encountered gas in each of the five independently sealed stacked Miocene sands targeted, and gross total vertical pay thickness for the sands encountered is about 150m.

The company has completed an extensive data acquisition program including pressure measurements, sampling and a mini flow test in selected zones.

Lundin Petroleum holds a 75% interest in the SB303 block through its subsidiary Lundin Malaysia, while Petronas Carigali holds the remaining 25% interest.
