The certificate endorses the high quality of the Luxor Solar modules even under harsh environmental and weather conditions.

Solar modules can be damaged by rainwater and moisture containing salt both in coastal as well as in inland areas. Salt residues that are left behind after drying can be reactivated when exposed to moisture again.

"Like all the solar modules manufactured by Luxor Solar GmbH, the Eco Line 60 is also made using only high quality components according to the German standards", says Michael Strobel, the technical manager of Luxor Solar GmbH. "Our manufacturing processes are continuously improved based on our many years of experience in the PV sector and the high quality is demonstrated by the various certificates."

In the test method according to IEC 61701, the PV modules are subjected to extreme test conditions over a period of 18 days. During the 16 test cycles, the modules are tested in two-hour cycles by spraying with a 5 percent salt solution and then keeping in a steam chamber at 40 °C air temperature for 24 hours. The test conditions ensure that the process of corrosion is speeded up. The Luxor solar modules, which were tested, have passed this test without any damages.
