Ma’aden will implement Ventyx Production Accounting application to streamline metal accounting and to have an insight into the performance of the plant.

The company will also deploy Ventyx MineMarket to track ore movements from the mine to the plant, manage stockpiles, track and manage logistics, and to manage complex sales and service contracts.

Ma’aden Gold and Base Metals Company president Yahia AlShangiti said Ventyx helps complex and large-scale mining operations to optimize the performance.

"We have been impressed with both the company’s deep domain expertise in mining, and the power and flexibility of the software," AlShangiti added.

Ventyx chief operating officer Craig Jones said, "This is a strategically important agreement with Ma’aden, in which we’re partnering with the region’s largest mining company to help further their mining operations."

Ma’aden also has plans to expand its gold production in the coming years and a few new projects ready to come online soon.

Ventyx, an ABB company, is a supplier of industrial enterprise software for energy, mining and public infrastructure industries.
