Mr Auer began his career at First & Merchants National Bank in Richmond, Virginia, and moved to Credit Suisse where he was a special representative in Tehran, Iran, and head of private banking in Singapore. He then joined Bank J Vontobel in Zurich where he was the head of the overseas clients division, including institutional clients in the Middle and Far East/Pacific regions.

Lynn Blystone, president and CEO of Tri-Valley, said: Mr Auer has visited our California oil and gas projects and, as a substantial shareholder, attended our annual shareholder meeting where his insights have proved to be most useful in building value for our shareholders and other investors.

His broad and highly sophisticated knowledge of the investment and capital formation opportunities will prove to be most beneficial for Tri-Valley shareholders and projects investors.
