The 5.41MWp PV plants have been built for Eurowind Energy, said the company.

The company has been involved in the engineering, procurement and construction of the two projects, a 2.03 MWp plant in Halchiu and a 3.38 MWp in Magurele, near Bucharest.

The two plants are expected to produce around 7 GWh per year, which are installed with about 22,000 PV modules on ground-mounted fixed structures in a 12.5 hectares area.

The company noted that the produced energy is equivalent to the average consumption of about 13,000 inhabitants and will offset the emission of about 3,500 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Eurowind Energy managing director Jens Rasmussen said the company highly values the close corporation with Martifer Solar for these projects.

"We experience Martifer Solar as a very professional and reliable business partner, with very competent and dedicated employees," affirms Jens Rasmussen, Managing Director of Eurowind Energy A/S," Rasmussen added.
