These are the second batch of assay results as part of the company’s 2013-2014 drilling program at the project.

The program comprised 97 holes covering 15,108m, and is designed to explore for mineral extensions to the North-East and beyond the GC Zone as well as identify mineral continuity within the GC Zone.

It was also aimed at drilling graphite areas located beyond the areas where drilling had been conducted earlier.

Mason Graphite president and CEO Benoit Gascon said: "We are very pleased that these new results confirm the continuity of the mineralization within the GC zone.

"These latest results will be combined with those from the North-East extension to update our resource estimate, which is expected to lead to the upgrade of the resource categories and to also allow for the optimization of the mining plan during our Feasibility Study."

Highlights from the latest drilling results inside the PEA open pit envelope in the GC Zone include 76m at 27.5 % graphitic carbon (Cg) in hole LG-403, 46m at 28.7 % Cg in hole LG-421, 86m at 32.7 % Cg in hole LG-424 and 50m at 23.9% Cg in hole LG-471.

Outside the PEA open pit envelope, the drilling showed mineralization of 42m at 24.6 % Cg in hole LG-420, 58m at 20.2 % Cg in hole LG-439, 202m at 21.6 % Cg in hole LG-455, 91m at 25.3 % Cg in hole LG-458 and 130m at 26.7 % Cg in hole LG-463.
