The company has also reported increased coal sales with the introduction of this shift earlier this month.

For the period of 1-15 August, MCoal booked sales of $228,576 demonstrating a 100% increase over the same period in July 2010.

The increased production has filled available throughput capacity at the present contract wash plant, and MCoal is exploring the use of alternative washing facilities while moving forward with the acquisition and implementation of a wash plant at the Rosa mine site.

The company has begun taking the necessary steps to locate a washing facility, which is anticipated to start operation by January 2011.

Implementation of the Rosa mine washing facility will provide increased processing capabilities and consistent recoveries and quality of the Rosa coal, allowing MCoal to continue expanding its sales, the company said.
