Tchefuncte owns and operates producing properties in five fields in Plaquemines and Lafourche Parishes in Louisiana, US.
Current production at the company-owned Lake Hermitage Field in Plaquemines Parish averages about 160 barrels of oil and 240mcf of gas per day, and total mineral acreage held by production is about 3,578 acres.
Immediately prior to the closing this acquisition by Mesa, Tchefuncte acquired properties in four fields in south Louisiana from Samson Contour Energy.
These properties have aggregate net production of about 160 barrels of oil and 1,080mcf per day of gas from 13 producing wells, Mesa said.
