According to Mirion, the DMC 2000GN Active Neutron dosimeters and LDM 2000 Pass-By Data Exchange dosimeter readers from the MGP Instruments product line offer better operational flexibility.

The DMC 2000GN provides real-time gamma and neutron dose and dose rate, while the LDM 2000 provides a wireless interface reader enabling in-motion readings of dosimeters, said the company.

Earlier in the the week of January 2009, Mirion Technologies Health Physics Division announced the release of the Rados HandFoot-Fibre hand/foot/clothing radiation contamination monitor.

Part of Rados’ CheckPoint:Body product line, this next generation monitor incorporates BetaFibre scintillation detector technology, eliminating the need for expensive gas connections which are difficult to maintain.
