<p>Petrol, which is 30%-owned by the Slovenian government, is the region&#0039;s largest fuel retailer, with a 68% market share and 308 petrol stations, Portfolio.hu reported. Petrol also has a network of 20 stations in Croatia, 36 stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and one station in Serbia.<br /><br />Although MOL&#0039;s chief communications officer has reportedly confirmed that the company is interested in expansion in Slovenia, Portfolio.hu revealed that he also commented that Petrol is not currently up for sale. <br /><br />The Hungarian online publication also cited a Petrol spokesman as saying that the company has not yet received a formal offer from MOL. <br /><br />According to Portfolio.hu, Petrol, which is also 20%-owned by investors, has been looking to expand outside of its domestic market due to the limited prospects in the region.</p>
