The Itar-Tass news agency reports that a delegation from the Moldovan government is planning to head to Moscow with the hope of enshrining the current $160 per thousand cubic meters price beyond the end of the year.
Moldova’s first deputy premier Zinaida Grechanaya told Itar-Tass that we hope to register this price in the contract to operate for several years. Gazprom increased Moldova’s import charges from $80/tcm at the start of 2006.
