The company has selected Ensign Rig #118 to carry drilling, while project’s well costs, including drilling, completion and tie-in to be around $6.5 to $7m per well.
Mountainview intends to drill the wells from one pad, and is planning to move the drilling rig to the Reistad location within the next week.
The company is expected to hold about 46% of its acreage in the project, based on production, after completing the winter drilling program.
Mountainview is engaged in the exploration, production and development of the Bakken and Three Forks shale in the Williston basin and the South Alberta Bakken.
