The company has an option to acquire the licenses located in Balama – ¬Montepuez region, and in are in close proximity to existing world class graphite and vanadium deposits held by Triton Minerals and Syrah Resources.
License 6142L is contiguous with Triton Minerals Nicanda Hill Project, while the 6142L is located approximately 5km from Syrah’s mining concession for the Balama project.
According to Mozambi, the underlying geology of the tenements is metamorphic rocks of the Mozambique mobile belt, which comprises rocks that have undergone intense deformation.
The company is currently working with Mozambique and Australian geologists as well as conducting desktop studies on the tenements.
After acquiring the tenements, Mozambi will carry out fieldwork, including trenching, rock chip sampling, mapping, potentially ground geophysical surveys and drilling program with a focus on accessing the potential that the 6142L license contains a continuation of the same stratigraphic unit hosting the Balama and Nicanda Hill resource.
