The program, which includes opportunities for wind developers and energy storage providers, is due to take place on 7 October at the Renewable Energy and Storage Summit (RESS).

NRC said its program is expected to establish collaboration and co-investment opportunities for technology developers, system integrators and end users that will expand Canada’s energy storage value chain and use the integration of renewables, including wind energy, into a modernized electricity grid.

More than 25 speakers will participate in the programme including senior representatives from IESO, AESO, PJM Interconnection, RES Canada, Brookfield Renewable Power, Hydro Quebec, NB Power, Duke Energy, Renewable Energy Developers, Northland Power and other firms.

NRC is an agency of the Government of Canada which conducts scientific research and development.
