Under the contract, the inspection services, which include maintenance and repair schedules, will be provided to 260 wind turbines.
Previously, Natural Power had delivered turbine blade inspections services at London Array, Westermost Rough and Walney wind farms. Currently the firm will mobilize at Lincs wind farm.
Natural Power, which also has experience in OEM turbine platforms, uses a semi-automated data capture solution to generate high-resolution imaging and processing software, which will analyze the durability of new and ageing turbine blades, both on and off-shore.

In May last year, NTR appointed Natural Power for asset management of Teevurcher Wind Farm located in Co. Meath in the Republic of Ireland.
At the time of contract annoucement, the Teevurcher Wind Farm site was under construction with Natural Power providing project management, Owner’s Engineer, Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) and hydrological monitoring services.
