Western GeoPower (WGP) is a subsidiary of Ram Power, a US- based renewable energy company.
The PPA also adjusts the expected capacity of the project to approximately 26MW, revises the purchase price per megawatt, and extends the term of the agreement from 20 to 25 years.
The company expects that the 26MW project will be completed by the end of 2013.
It is anticipated that the PPA will be signed in April 2011, subject to approval by the five NCPA members.
The PPA is a amended and restated one entered into in 2008.
NCPA, located in Roseville, California, is a joint powers agency providing clean, renewable energy to its 17 member communities and districts in Northern and Central California.
