According to local media reports, government officials identified projects to be developed in different phases. A first phase would involve constructing 64 hydro projects, with these schemes expected to be finalised at the end of this month.
Any projects identified as being over 200MW would be developed by the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation, with smaller projects to be executed by IPPs or local firms.
