The Chenab Valley Power Projects JV was set up based on the promoter’s agreement signed on December last year amongst the three companies.
As per the terms of the JV agreement, NHPC and JKSPDC would own a 49% stake each in the joint venture firm while the remaining 2% shareholding would be with PTC India.
Last year, NHPC has commenced commercial operations of all three units of 120MW Sewa II hydro power project in Jammu & Kashmir, India, reports Hydroworld.com
