The company has supplied its 60 N90/2500 turbines to the project which is jointly owned by BP Wind Energy and Sempra Generation.
The Public Service Company of Colorado, an Xcel Energy affiliate has purchased the power produced by the facility, under a 25-year power purchase agreement.
The power produced by the facility is expected to power 45,000 homes.
In addition to wind turbine supply and commissioning, Nordex will continue to provide service and maintenance for the power project under a five-year contract.
Nordex has both completed installations totaling 500 MW in several US states, including Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Maryland, Iowa, and Idaho.
