Under the terms of the contract, Nordex has agreed to construct the foundations, supply the turbines and commission them, as well as to provide premium service for a period of 15 years.
Nordex will supply 17 units of N90/2500 machines to be deployed at the wind farm as of August 2012.
The state-owned utility Bord Gais said the 42.5MW Garracummer will produce 150GWh of energy annually.
Nordex CCO Lars Bondo Krogsgaard said with Garracummer wind farm, the company hopes to be able to intensify its partnership into the future.
