The company has also submitted the rent and surety payments to the Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Mines for EPC 2337, the grant of which is expected soon.
NSL’s four thermal coal tenements in the Eromanga Basin in southwest Queensland, including EPC 2198, 2336, 2337 and 2338, are spread over 2,585km².
The combined exploration target across the four tenements is expected to be between 6.6 billion and 18.7 billion tonnes of thermal coal.
NSL is also engaged in iron ore production in India.
