The mine entrance had been illegally blockaded between 13 and 28 November, preventing all mining and milling activities. The operations are expected to be at pre-blockade levels of production within the next few days.

The temporary suspension will have a negative impact on Q4 2014 mining production volumes by approximately 2,000 tonnes of zinc in concentrate, based on lost production between the start of the blockade and the start of full production ramp up.

Campo Morado produced approx. 19,000 tonnes of zinc in concentrate in the first nine months of 2014.
