Designed designed, developed and constructed by the company, the 1.8MW solar PV system has been deployed at four schools and the district office.

The solar system will save the district about $13m in energy costs over the life of the project, and will generate about 90% of the electricity demand at the five sites, enough energy to power nearly 160 homes.

In addition to saving millions of taxpayers’ dollars for the district, the solar system, comprised of parking canopies and shade structures, will offset the annual production of 1,377 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions.
