The deal, which will run for five years, includes an option for maintenance services to the wind farm, located near the Heligoland coast in the North Sea.
OMM will deliver structural and subsea services. Work on about 60km of cable will be supported by the company’s Hamburg office and UK head office in Cambridge.
Services will include inter-array cable procedures, a technical support line, fault detection, emergency action responses, and repair operations as needed.
RWE Innogy general manager of the Nordsee Ost wind farm Sven Schulemann said: "The cables are the central nervous system of the wind farm which makes it an essential element for its safe and economically efficient operation.
"In Offshore Marine Management we are pleased to have found an expert partner for our first wind farm off the German coast."
Situated about 35km to the north-east of the island of Helgoland in the German North Sea region, the Nordsee Ost wind farm generates enough energy for about 320,000 households per year.
The 48-turbine wind farm covers about 24km2 with water depths of up to 25m.
RWE will operate and service the project for the next 20 years. All the turbines and the substation have been connected by inter-array cables.
