Previously, McMullen served as CEO and president of the company from December 2000. Between January 2000 and December 2000, he served as president and chief operating officer. He joined OMNOVA’s former parent, GenCorp Inc., in September 1996 as vice president and president of its decorative and building products business unit. Earlier, he was general manager of General Electric Corporation’s (GE’s) Commercial & Industrial Lighting business, and before that was general manager of GE Lighting’s Business Development and Strategic Planning activities. He was a management consultant with the McKinsey & Co. from 1985 to 1991. He has been a director of the company since 2000 and chairs the executive committee.

Since January 2009, Porcellato has been CEO of The Homax Group, Inc. Between July 2002 and January 2007, he served as CEO of ICI Paints North America, a division of ICI. From July 2000 until June 2002, he served as executive vice president and general manager, ICI Paint Stores, North America. Earlier, he served as president of Stanley Mechanics Tools from March 1999 until October 2000, and held a variety of leadership positions with Rubbermaid Incorporated from 1988 to 1999. He joined the board of OMNOVA in September 2008 and is a member of the audit committee.

Stefanko retired as chairman of the board and executive vice president, finance and administration of A. Schulman, Inc. (A. Schulman) in April 2006, after having held these positions since 1991 and 1989, respectively. He joined A. Schulman in 1972, was appointed vice president, finance in 1979 and became a member of A. Schulman’s board of directors in 1980. He has been a director of OMNOVA since 2006 and is a member of the audit committee.
