The US Overseas Private Investment Corporation is funding two energy projects in South America. It will fund an estimated $50 million for a 437km gas pipeline from Argentina to Brazil in a project partially sponsored by CMS Energy, and is also providing $110 million for the associated 600 MWe gas-fired combined cycle plant.
