Orica completed the repair work on the plant in December 2011, with pre start testing conducted last week as a final check prior to start-up.
All pre start activities have been completed on the the Ammonia plant for the commencement of restart.
Site manager Sean Winstone said the independent technology experts will be onsite providing the appropriate oversight.
The Ammonia plant is a key supplier of ammonia and carbon dioxide to the agriculture, water supply, food, dairy and medical sectors.
