The OCTRON 800 XV offering will include 4ft SUPERSAVER (30W, 28W and 25W) types that deliver energy savings of about 40% when compared with T12 magnetically ballasted fluorescent systems.

OCTRON family also includes 50W and 54W, 8ft SUPERSAVER lamps that provide energy savings of about 35% when compared with 8ft T12 systems.

The addition of these new lamps provide cost saving options for all T8 luminaires, Osram Sylvania said.

The company also said the OCTRON 800 XV and 800 XV SUPERSAVER lamps will begin to be available in September this year.
