Alliant Energy’s subsidiary, Wisconsin Power and Light Company, owns the Cedar Ridge wind farm.

The wind farm started commercial operation in December 2008, and Outland will start performing scheduled maintenances in the first quarter of next year.

Each of the Vestas V82 wind turbines at the wind farm has a nameplate capacity of 1.65MW.

Together, the forty-one turbines produce enough clean renewable energy to power 17,000 Wisconsin homes each year.

Outland is a provider of operations and maintenance services for wind energy facilities throughout the US and abroad, including commissioning, scheduled & unscheduled maintenance, and inspections.
