PECO delivered 3.44 billion kWh of electricity and 12.88 billion cubic feet (bcf) of natural gas in January 2008. When compared to what is considered normal weather, PECO said electric sales were 2.4% below normal and natural gas was 11% less than normal in January 2008.

The utility noted that, based on data from the National Weather Service, January 2008 was 8% colder than a year ago but 11% milder than normal.
