Under the terms of the agreement, Photowatt Ontario will produce and deliver 160MW of modules over four years, using cells supplied by Hanwha SolarOne.

The agreement has the potential to be increase the volume of production by an additional 160MW over the same period.

The modules will be in line with the Ontario feed in tariff (FIT) program and are expected to be fully compliant with FIT and Micro FIT Program.

The agreement is subject Photowatt Ontario meeting requirements provided by Hanwha SolarOne.

The delivery of shipments will begin in October this year.

Photowatt Ontario will produce the modules at its photovoltaic module facility in the Green Wing of the ATS campus in Ontario, Canada.
