The three projects are to be entered in the next round of tenders for power contract supply by BC Hydro, due later this year.

With the potential to generate approximately 350GWh of electricity annually, the three proposed projects in the vicinity of Toba inlet are Dalgleish Creek, Jimmie Creek and Upper Toba.

Plutonic hopes that the data collected for its recently approved east Toba and Montrose Creek projects in the same area will enable the environmental assessment to be expedited. The company hopes the permitting process can be concluded by early 2009.

With a portfolio of 31 planned run-of-river projects in the province of British Columbia, and with two starting to be built, Plutonic is scoping a portfolio with up to 1.6GW installed capacity.
