Under the contract, the company will supply its SCR/CO exhaust system for installation in a combined-cycle natural gas fired turbine power plant application.

The equipment is expected to reduce both NOX and CO emissions by at least 90% for an electric power generation facility in the northeast region of the US.

PMFG chief executive officer Peter Burlage said the new combined cycle plant is indicative of the relative cost of natural gas as a fuel source and the significant cost implications for existing coal fired facilities to address regulatory requirements.
