Power Machines has announced that the installation of the first generator rotor and a hydro turbine have been successfully completed under supervision of its technicians at the Kygy hydropower project in Turkey.
The rotor generator was installed in the first hydro cavern at the project, with the turbine installed in the second cavern at the project site. Parallel to these activities, operations to assemble the first hydro generator and the second and third turbines are underway, ready for commissioning by the end of 2017.

The deal included the manufacturer and delivery of the electrical and mechanical equipment on a turnkey basis, including three 46.6MW turbines, pre-turbine gate valves, three generators, all the electrical and mechanical equipment of the main generator hall and the switchgear.
