Construction will start at the Pandoin substation in the next few weeks, and later in 2008 on the 38km powerline. All construction work is expected to be completed by late 2009.
Gordon Jardine, CEO of Powerlink, said: As part of this environmental assessment, we have been talking with landowners whose properties are crossed by the existing easement. We will continue to work closely with residents and the local community to try and reduce any inconvenience as a result of the construction works and to keep them informed of upcoming activities.
