As per the 4.5-year contract, valued at EUR15m ($21.79m), Poyry will assist the client in the review of the engineering, procurement and construction contractor’s detail design and the inspection of workshop tests.
The company will also execute site supervision of the contractor’s construction and erection as well as the commissioning and testing for the project.
The order includes 2650MW combined cycle project and 1.025 million-cubic meter/day desalination plant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The facility is configured as five 600MW combined cycle gas turbine blocks and two 220MW single cycle gas turbines units along with desalination plant consisting of 8 MSF units (plus RO units).
