Public Power Corporation (PPC) stated that the memorandum of understanding (MoU) will facilitate the building of two 800MW coal-fired power plants and the purchase of two used gas turbines. The MoU also details cooperation in natural gas development and renewable energy, said Thomson Financial.
According to the publication, PPC would also examine proposals for cooperation from other energy firms while it does not seek any strategic partner.
