Under the ten-year contract, Prezioso will apply the ISO methods, including rope access techniques, rigging and other related tasks for the facilities.

Sture and Kollsnes processing plants head Olav Bådsvik said: "This framework agreement with Prezioso Linjebygg for the delivery of ISO services at Sture and Kollsnes marks the start of a long-term partnership between the companies.

Located near Bergen, the Statoil’s Sture oil terminal serves as an export port for crude oil and consists of two jetties able to berth tankers up to 300,000 deadweight tons.

The terminal also features five artificial rock caverns for crude with a total capacity of one million cubic meters as well as a plant for recovering volatile organic compounds (VOC).

Located west of Bergen, the Gassco-operated Kollsnes processing plant receives gas from the Troll, Kvitebjørn and Visund fields in the North Sea.

Statoil is serving as technical service provider at the plant, which has capacity to handle up to 143 million standard m³ per day.
