Puma has purchased Murco’s facility in Milford Haven, Wales, three inland terminals at Westerleigh, Theale and Bedworth, and wholesale and distribution business in the UK.

Murco Petroleum refines and distributes petrol and diesel, as well as propane and butane.

With this investment, Puma’s midstream operations current storage capacity will be increased by around 1.4Mm3 from 5.6Mm3.

Puma said that the deal is a significant strategic entry into the UK market for the supply of fuel products giving the company an immediate presence in the UK wholesale and distribution market.

As part of the transaction, Puma Energy will convert the Milford Haven facility into an advanced storage facility.
