The Solar Edition manufacturing software consists of Eyelit MES, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Automation, Asset Management and Quality Management.

The software features complete traceability from wafer processing to fully assembled panel; equipment states and PM tracking; Integrated tool file upload and barcode printing of lot IDs; Eyelit SPC module to trend critical data for tool and line qualification; and advanced features, such as Eyelit’s quality modules and full factory automation.

Eyelit claims its Solar Edition provides out-of-the-box feature sets, tool automation and capabilities to achieve high-volume and quality goals.

Eyelit Sales and Marketing VP Dan Estrada said the agreement enables the solar manufacturer to ramp up from low-volume/R&D production levels to over 1 GW of solar production.

"With the goal of grid parity driving companies to produce low-cost, high-value solar products, the company’s Solar Edition offers a cost-effective way to improve operational efficiency," Estrada said.
