The power plant would be fueled with natural gas, which is to be supplied by Cuu Long and Nam Con Son basins. The company informed that the power station would produce between 2.2 and 2.5 billion kwh per year.
PV Power is speeding up the construction of the Nhon Trach 2 power facility, which is also built in Nhon Trach district of Dong Nai province. The Nhon Trach 2 power plant has a power generation capacity of 750 MW.
The company is also an investor in various other power projects, such as the Luang Phrabang Hydro-Power station in Laos, with 1,500MW of power generation capacity and the Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power facility with 1,200MW of power production capacity in the northern province of Thai Binh.
