Comprising two projects, the $76m contract was awarded by the Kahramaa (Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation), BusinessKorea reports.

The first $63m project covers installation of an underground power line linking an old substation with a new one in Doha, while the second $13m project seeks installation of an underground power cable between substations in Mesaieed.

Requiring 15 and 19 months, respectively, for completion, the two projects are expected to be implemented on a turnkey basis, from provision of materials, including 220kV extra-high-voltage cables, to cable network design and construction, according to the news agency.
