“This agreement allows REG to offer additional biodiesel supply at competitive prices,” said Jon Scharingson, REG director of marketing. “Our customers in South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska will be able to pick up product directly from this facility’s truck loading facility.”

The state-of-the-art plant has multiple feedstock capabilities which will allow it to produce high quality biodiesel year-round.

“As our plant begins biodiesel production for the first time, we are proud to partner with a national biodiesel distribution partner to move our products to market,” said Delayne Johnson, Maple River Energy general manager. “We are excited to produce clean-burning biodiesel from locally grown soybeans,” Johnson added.

REG will market B100 or B99 from the facility under its REG-9000 product line and include the Galva site as a terminal on its pricing list. Because of its location in western Iowa, petroleum distributors in Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota and South Dakota will have greater access to high quality fuel.
